You Think You Know, But You Have No Idea!

Ummm....so yeah, how rude of me to ramble on like that and not even talk about myself first. Seeing as I have a lot of time on my hands right now (I refuse to work on my 2 presentations and paper due tomor) now is the perfecto opportunity to talk about me, myself, and I. So right now, I'm a freshman at the "Real HU" Howard University. You Know!!!! Yeah, I'm an architecture major, so I'll be here five years while all my peeps get to leave a lil earlier. Tear. Anyway, I really need to decide if this is what I want to do with my life. Since I knew what an architect was I've been sayin I want to be one. And I've done everything to give myself a jumpstart, like takin related courses in high school, workin at an architecture firm, rubbin elbows with people in the field, etc. But as my time here begins, I wonder...did I give myself a chance to want somehing else for my life. No...not really. It was always, "I'm going to be an architect, do forget all that other stuff." Don't get me wrong, its something I enjoy and can see myself doing something related and being happy. But is this all I want to be. Anyway let's save that for another day.

On to my likes and dislikes. You already know I like architecture, so to expand that, I'm really down with anything I can get creative with; umm...airbrushing, calligraphy, drawing, sketching, photography, some times writing depending on the subject. Yeah right now I'm working on my first novel entitled "White Lines" yeah look for that to come out in like 2012 or something. Cross your fingers. O but I digress. On to television, people think I watch a lot of tv but I really don't. I only watch like four shows; "Nip/Tuck," "Veronica Mars," "Gilmore Girls," and "SOuth of Nowhere." (In no particular order. All weigh pretty equally) I like movies, especially the classics, you know, "Breakfast at Tiffany's," "Casablanca," etc. I really like movies that say something either with a message or artistic expression; "RENT," "Sin City" <-Awesomely directed, Kudos to Rodriquez and Miller.

Never been that much of a girly girl, if there is such a thing. Got three brothers so I grew up kind of a tomboy but its koo cuz I'm still such a lady. I like basketball although I don't really play anymore, and I love to swim. I shoulda been born with gills and fins. I absolutely HATE the color pink but I'll wear occasionally if I like that article of clothing. Ummm...I hate all things fake; fake people, nails, hair color, body parts, eye color (damn contacts), DVDs and CDs, etc. It's just not cool to be fake. Why be fake when you can be REAL. I love my hair color. I think it's pretty cool like it is so I would never dye it. Some people think I do, but baby its "O Naturale!" CHEESE!! :D I like to be me and hate to catch myself doing something I wouldn't normally do just because I'm in a certain situation. I like to look nice but most people don't think so cuz when they see me on campus, I'm usually bummin it. But who cares what they think, right!? I like Diesel's, there my absolute favorite casual shoe. O and Top Sider's and Clarks. It's cool to be comfortable. Ummm...I like Polo, Seven, Puma...wait I sound materialistic. O but I'm not, I just know what I like. I hate those damn purses with the sequins on them. Can we say Uuggggggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Anyway.........I lost my train of thought for a second............wait it's coming back........I like to chill. I'm a chill person. Don't like to be to outrageous. I like group stuff and my alone time. You know time to read, just chill, write, draw, solitary stuff. I've been called an introvert. Sure I am, ain't nothing wrong with that, but I do know how to get out and have a good time when I want to, so I'm ok with being an introvert. I got balance.

Whew...ok, I'm back. Yeah five minute break I had to munch on some fries. So I used to be slightly vegetarian, you know no meat. That lasted about six months, but then ummm...hunger struck while at college, and I bought my first cheeseburger and tore it up. Yeah it made me sick, but I'm alive. So I kinda eat meat now, but its really only when I'm desparate. Yeah I feel bad about not sticking to my commitment, but ummm...I'm in college and I can't be passin out cuz I'm hungry. Ummm...I think I'm going to wrap this up for now. But stay tuned. This is me signing off.
